This weekend we went hiking on the Maunawili trail. It was about one mile each way to a waterfall. The hike wasn't too bad but there were quite a few steep parts, we had to cross the stream a few times, and it was pretty muddy. Bailey had a great time, at first she was a little hesitant to get wet in the stream. But by the end Bailey was running into the water and even ran into a deep part of the stream in pursuit of a stick. Maybe our dog will actually start liking the water! Kassidy had a pretty good time too. She slept part of the way to the waterfall and most of the way back. I guess the bouncing around in her carrier lulls her to sleep. Next week we'll probably try another waterfall hike!
